MAYBE i've found a good potmoddable laser

i noticed this laser

it has a greater brother of 350mw....and my 6 sense... say me thay this laser use a 2watt diode... like the rbother....but it is just downpowered.

okkey... could be a unit of 350mw with problems... turned down in power....but i am quite sure that also NICE UNITS are underpowered.... and if someone would increase the power of this laser from 200.. to 270... 300mw..... could be REAL to do.

excuse me if you think that this threas is useless.....
but for me it isn't.

to find a 2watt laser at 215$ is difficult.....and this could be THE BEST laser to modify to largely increase the power..... all IMHO

ahahahah. modify a laser is not a reate you know that a lot of laser are downpowered for that people who want spend less money ..or want a lower powered one.

i think that the rayfoss price when buy the laser from facroty... is not so much different for these 2 version and the 200mw could really be A BIG DEAL......

Its nonsense, lasers are produced and then divided into power bins, depening on the efficiency of their crystal set. You'll often see that a range of laser with outputs like 75-100-125 mW draw exactly the same amount of battery current.

There is only one laser suitable for pot modding: One that has been tuned down to 5 mW for safety reasons, and capable of more than that.

Well realista....
I suppose you will need to buy that Laser and pot mod it...
Then do a review and tell us how much more power you got
out of it.... Or how much time it took to die...:undecided:

ok. so it is a bad efficiency brother of the 350mw version.... and with high probability if someone try to increase the power of it... it will broken. ok.
