wish I had this back in the day when messing around with peltiers . . .

should be good for my Flexdrive heatsink and adding some mass to the back of my 445 diode/module . . .

Arctic Alumina = non conductive
Arctic Silver = conductive

Sure you gotta be careful.
You just want to put the adhesive on the part which needs cooling, make sure it doesnt touch any leads etc.
I learned myself the hard way by messing up 2 Cree MC-E emitters :(
 
As long as it contains alumina (Al2O3) it should not be conductive at all, alumina is a good electrical insulator and even used as such.

How did you manage to ruin those leds? Got it on the dome or something?
 
I think i used to much of it so it was shorting out the pins but i didnt noticed til it was too late.
I used the silver adhesive though..
