Making your green laser COLD PROOF and run @ 100%

Re: Making your green laser COLD PROOF and run @ 1

Well if you dont care about the battrie i just hook it strait up to the wire : ).... only put in the resistor to make it sound safer : )

lol with mine i am using a 42v battrie pack : ) and to hold the wire i have the wire wrapped around a wooden stick on bolth sides.... cuts through through it like warm butter : )

Ok I built one of these foam things today. It worked alright but it still dimmed out. I was outside for about 10 minutes and then my beam started to get gay so I went inside. When I got inside I took it out and tried it and it was still gay. The laser itself was actually very warm and the outside did not get cold at all. I then put it on the heater for 10 min and tried it and it was back to full power. I guess the foam helped insulate the lasers body but the inside still froze up.

use a 12v car batt and some 2mm copper wire with a 40ohm 100w array ( 10 400ohm 10w wirewound ceramic resistors) will slice the foam like a kantana through cream cheese ( always gotta go 1 better)

another coolthing is discharge a cap array (0.1f 400v) through a 0.7mm pencil lead...
STUPIDLY bright perfectly white light for 10-20 seconds

orderd my dx true100 on the 12.. hope it arrives before 23rd ( or i dont get it untill the 2nd/3rd) to UK
