Making beam expander

Telescopes and binoculars are beam expanders in reverse, when looking through them they are but shoot light out of them and the beam expands reducing divergence. Only problem with binoculars and spotting scopes is they have prisms in them adding additional loss, a astronomy telescope doesn't have one. The prism turns things back upright which would be upside down without them.

Can I use this monoculars to making a beam expander

This spotting scope works well.

It won't work very well because the plastic that holds the prism will burn and the lenses are poor quality, some are acrylic, I have attempted to use that same optic and they are garbage, you could only use it with a low power laser with low divergence but your results won't be any good.
