hi,
wondering if anybody can help first i am trying to take a diode from a hard drive on an old pc. i have it nearly out it wont seem to come free of the casing?another question what kind of driver do i need?
thanks:evil:
Are you sure you don't mean a cd/dvd drive? Hard drives do not use optical mediums to store data so they do not have laser diodes in them. You can try searching on the forum for one of the various photo/video guides that members here have posted detailing the removal process from cd/dvd drive sleds.
