Is it capacitive fingerprint detection? I didn't see the anything about it in specs. It seems that fingerpring requires windows, whicht is double bad.
 
On that type of sensor, you have to "slide" the fingertip at a certain speed (with some tolerance).

It "read" the image line by line and reconstruct it in memory, then compare it with the sample.
