M140 - M Type Abnormal Beam?

I am using M140 M Type for a DIY laser engraver. Recently I noticed that when I focus the beam to a dot a rectangle pops up on the side. This rectangle feels like a reflection of the diode beam but turned 90 degrees. Is this normal for M140?
