It used to be pretty awesome... meaning not communist, not censored, and not bad. It's been around quite a while longer than LPF.

I actually remember that, the LC really is what got me into lasers back when it was good. I didn't post there though.

Yep, LC used to be pretty good... until "Steve" implemented the "another laser company" rule.

Yea, before I joined the LPF, I was looking through the topics at LC all the time. It made me come even deeper into the laser hobby. But then I found this place, which was a whole lot better, more informative and just nicer. And, I never liked the thought that a laser company is the "boss" of a forum, it makes the whole place biased. A forum is a place where you can discuss different things, but LC was made into a huge commercial for WL.
Now, LC is just a junkyard with hardly any activity.

I love LPF, it has given so much to me.
