Looking for Tungsten Bars

Hey everyone,

I thought this would be as good a place as any to ask so I am looking for small bars of tungsten.

Approx 30mmx15mmx1mm.

Let me know if you have any or know where I can get some as I am having trouble finding it.

Hey RayJay, are you looking for round bars, or flat pieces? Your dimensions suggest a flat piece rather than round.
Do you need pure tungston, or an alloy that allows machining?

These are U.S. based companies, but at the very least, you may gain some info. on what you may need.

Changsha Fatree trading co has previously hooked me up with a tungsten rod sample. I recommend them, their prices was far cheaper than any company I could find based in the west, and they shipped DHL which took only three days to arrive. You can email phoebe@csfatree.com and ask for a quote.

Yeah I need flat rectangular bars.

I have contacted a bunch of Chinese manufacturers and most of them have a minimum quantity of 2 Kilo's! I don't need anywhere near that much, at the absolute most 200 grams! And if someone was willing to do say 10 small 20 gram pieces for $5 each their shipping was upto $90!

Wow, that'ssuper expensive! I have been quoted as little as $140/kg.

I was thinking that seemed high. I've been looking for a place that sells small quantities of various elements in rod or bar form. That just happened to be the first one I found.
