Hi, I am planning on making a sort of laser tripwire project to be run on a Raspberry Pi computer and I want to find the ideal laser module to drive off the device.
I want to be able to see the beam when smoke is sprayed through it so I thought 532mn would be best but the Pi doesn't give large power outputs.
The power I really want is <3.3V @ 2-16mA
But I could possibly use another pin of either:
<3.3V @ <50mA (or <5V @ <50ma if really desparate)
I think 5mW would be best for safety reasons. Also I doubt I could get a 10mW at those specs.
Does anyone know if/where I could acquire such a module?
Or would a red 5mW beam show up enough with light smoke?
Cheers guys
