Hey all. I posted on here a while back and was planning on doing a very special laser build. I got sidetracked but am back at it. I build props as a hobby, so I am going to be putting a high power (3w) blue laser I got from DTR into a lightsaber body. I need your help to find something I can use to house the batteries I would like to use, 2x 26650 Li-ion cells. I have access to battery packs pre-made, but I would like more capacity than what is available from 18650's.
The host (lightsaber body) has an inner diameter of 1.25" and a usable space of almost 6", so I am looking for a battery tube made of brass or a similar material that will allow me to use two 26650 batteries stacked in a stick configuration. I would like to be able to remove and charge them.
If anyone can help me find something like this, or if any of you master machinists feel like making me something like this, I will pay.
