I am interested in buying "1.3W 520nm NDG7475 Laser Diode In Copper Module W/X-Drive & DTR-G-2 Glass Lens" from ebay.
Would you recommend buying this?
Secondly, will it work with the "C6 Host Assembly"?

I'd thought I'd get someone's opinion before spending $200.
Many Thanks!!

Skwoz, that C6 host is way to small to run a 1W+ 520.
You can but these greens run so hot you won't get more 20 than seconds of run time without putting the diode in danger.
I know your new but really take a look at member Lifetime17 hosts. Everyone will vouch for him.. He can mod a bigger flashlight with a heatsink and leave you 2 wires to just hook up to DTR's module assembly. Very nicely priced..
Or you can upgrade to SL SX4 option.

Copper would be the best material to use for a 1+ watt green direct diode host. But, those can be quite expensive so a large aluminum one could work well for you. I used an MS-SSW-II host for a 520nm 1100 mW build. They are no longer available, but it shows how well large aluminum heat sinks work with these diodes.

Hi,
Here is a 2X18350 back powder coated host with a NDG7475 diode for sale. And if you like you can have the option of a beam expander included . 3A0F846F-ECD7-49EA-8248-7FE6E924DF9E_1_201_a.jpeg271BBB08-3A1D-460F-962E-36112B6D11C3_1_201_a.jpegD3BED79C-E105-4FE6-8AD6-5DB43D72D323_1_201_a.jpegD4EF121E-62C8-44FB-BC80-D2D160EAAE8D_1_201_a.jpeg74A76294-1800-4374-BBA4-AF918E82439C_1_201_a.jpegA437EC78-897C-44E3-A82E-5861BF226EC1_1_201_a.jpeg27797ED9-E1E6-44DB-AC91-DBBF30A70952_1_201_a.jpegB0D59BEE-A369-4336-9A0B-6729D1BFA43D_1_201_a.jpeg
