Looking for an inexpensive DMX controller :-)

I took the plunge (sort of) and got a red scanner to upgrade ! LOL Anywho, it has a DMX connector, and functions, etc - wanted to know approx price range ? I think I recall seeing them for like $60 US or something ? Or was that something else ?
 





Hi Greg, do you want it computer controlled, or do you want a board type thing? I bought my USB controlled DMX thing at www.enttec.com, it was the DMX usb pro one. There is a cheaper one called the open, but avoid that one,because if your laser somehow fails, it will send 110V right into your usb port. The DMX pro has isolation up to 1500V, and internal memory, so if your computer locks up, it will contininue with what t was doing last. It is slightly more expensive than $60, but its well worth it(well in my case anyway) There is a DMX usb kit you can buy, but its fairly complicated to build, and dosn't have isolation IIRC. Just ask me and Hemlock Mike if you decide to go that route, we will help you out ;)
