Hello LPF community!
I am RapidVodka and I am new to the forums.
I've been doing some lowkey research behind the scenes on the forum and I just made my account.
Anyway I've been fascinated with fire and lasers from a very young age and what's better than to combine both of them?
I know blue 405nm is one of the best wavelengths for burning but I just love the green beam even though its not as effective maybe you guys could steer me in the right direction.
I am on a budget looking to spend on about $200 wish I could spend more but thats out of the question.
I will be using the laser for mainly burning (lighting matches, lighting cigarettes, lighting fuses, popping balloons, burning paper etc)
I've been looking at the 100mw rpl lasers from optotronics as well as the 95w cni lasers from dragon lasers and to my understanding it seems that cni lasers perform better in burning? Also that the smaller the beam diameter the greater the lasers ability to burn. It seems that most lasers are around the same beam diameter so if you guys could steer me in the right direction that would be great!
I also emailed cni for an individual purchase but they quoted me $60 to ship from China which is ridiculously expensive.
Thanks for the help guys!
