Looking for a Laser Pointer with a THICK beam (If they actually exist...)

get a 520nm from laserbtb, much thicker beam then regular 532nm lol.. or a 445 blue those are thick to and u can well see them up in the sky

A "thick beam" can be achieved with the careful application of convex optics, but for full customs of that sort you may be looking at some major $$$. On youtube videos the beam may look thicker if the camera is off focus or the atmosphere happened to be thicker than usual [of the smoky, mineral oil fog sort]. The camera overexposure may create the illusion of thickness when in fact its just an aberration.

Going by the color, and thick beam, and from his signature, I would guess it's a PL/PLP520 in a stainless SH-032 host. My PL520 laser has a nice thick beam too.

I would say he used the one of the newer PL520 multimode diodes.
