I know there's a 'Lol at WarnLaser' thread but I just recieved some customer service I would find typical of WarnLaser.... but Wicked? o.O

I asked them why they still advertise The Torch as the brightest, why the BX has odd specs and whether the Pulsar has a regulating circuit. Just some random questions that were on my mind.

(my name's not Milo by the way, I just use that name)

The pulsar has a driver circuit, therefor a lithium will burn out the circuit? You told me about the other two things, but not this... ;D

EDIT: OMG, i never noticed your sig until now.. You're "only" getting 200mW, and you have to give half to Stan... ;)

OMG Lithiums screw up driver circuits! Gah! My lasers are stuffed! :o

Oh, I really hope they do fix 'The Torch' one and make it like 10,000 lumens or something. I still wouldn't buy one, but I reckon some videos of it would be pretty cool :)

No man, lithium batteries burn circuit boards on lasers that don't have circuit boards. But as long as you have a circuit , your circuit is fine. :P

And lol, blue laser technology cannot produce TEM00......O RLY? ::)

Yeah, if there was a driver, it would simply convert the excess power to heat, like all linear drivers do. It would get hotter at a higher voltage, but most ICs have a built in thermal shutdown anyway. Not a built in self destruct feature.

I've never seen such a fake explanation in my life. The transverse mode thing is beyond belief..

Sarcasm doesn't come across well on the internet :(

Most of these answers look more 'pro wicked' rather than 'right'. Maybe that's what the support people have been trained to do?

Blue laser technology can only run in TEM[sub]03[/sub] Well we all know thats a lie ;)

Wicked should maybe start training their staff.

But....the Pulsar HAS a circuit BOARD....just nothing on it :P At least the seven I have torn into, gutted, improved, and rebuilt were like that.... Picture one of RKCSTR's drivers without any components on it - and the diode, and the sprint attached, as well as the button :P Yeah....pretty much like that :-?

This idiot either knows by now the intentions of these type of questions (mockery) and has now become keen to the scheme and is retaliating with sarcastic b/s answers, OR, this clown needs to be enlightened, perhaps he/she/it thinks that TEM03 is the norm and that it is better then TEM00. You should reply that your DX 200 red runs fine with lithiums, and ask how circuitry can be "permanently" damaged if it doesn't exist, perhaps clarify if it's the laser diode itself. ;D What kind of company gives such B/S assistance? Simply amazing. ;D

it's not hard for me to believe those answers are real - heck my friend's $1700 SpyderII BX averaged 10mW ::)

Someone really buys those over 1500$ things from there?  :o :'(

LMAO!

Wow, I didn't know "Pete" is that stupid, I would have rewritten one of my emails telling me I won the 2nd to 5th place on the Wicked Laser contest and trick him to send me that Spyder III!!! ;D

BTW, MarioMaster, nice laser! What do you think of it?
