Little help needed regarding youtube discussion

In addition to my native tongue, purported to be the third most difficult language in the world, I speak English surprisingly well, for a generic Hungarian of my age, Spanish with some difficulty, and I'm studying Japanese on my own now.

Wow, impressive Thunder, four different languages is not easy. I had a coworker at IBM that spoke five languages and she said it's almost impossible to learn more. I guess it has to do with learning all the different language rules.

They do say that Hungarians have a way with languages, what with their native tongue being so notoriously difficult. Especially Chinese and Japanese are easy for us, as they are agglutinating languages, meaning they use particles and sufixes to form words, just like Hungarian.

The down side of the anecdote is that we cannot shed our distinctive accent. That was one thing that led us to being labelled Martians :D
