lite on 8x at tiger direct

Hey guys, I did a quick search on the forums and didnt find any info regarding the liteon 8x blu ray drive. It says 8x but I am not well informed on these diodes atm. says 99 bucks at tigerdirect....

Looks promising, wait for IgorT, or Daguin or a more experienced member and they'll probably have more info.

I did hear of drives using a 6X diodes with an improved dampening system, normally the only way to tell for sure is to rip the drive to shreds and see what's inside.

You're looking for BD-R and BD-RE

I haven't had good luck with Lite On DVD burners, they tend to come with the crap plastic diodes, no knowlegde on there BR diodes thou :undecided:
