I think I'm gonna go with rog8811, I'd rather make my own. How did you use the mirror? I couldn't see, it looked like you were shining the laser into the fan.

The mirror is a piece out of the long mirror from a laser jet printer, it is a First surface mirror around 1/4" thick and 3/4" long and 1/2" high. It just sits across the middle of the fan. It is very fiddly but once you get it right it works supremely well.

I tried all sorts of multiple mirrors and always ended up with multiple lines. The one mirror, as detailed above, I stuck on first with double sided tape until I got a single line then fixed it fully with super glue.
