Your technical drawing skill certainly beats mine hands-down Do you think this would work in practice though? I would be a bit worried about the wobble, or difficulty in rotating the arm properly.

I have hardly been into my workshop since then, I have been too busy with large projects at work that leave me too knackered to think about laser building at the moment.

I will return to it when things are quieter.
