I had to take this information down, Cyparagon negged me for being suckered into posting something I was trolled on and believed was correct. I do have an issue with the guy though, he could have chosen to kind and just inform me I was wrong, instead he attacked my character and negged.

One thing this young man needs to learn is it is more important to be kind than it is to be right.

Estate tax has a 5.43 million dollar exemption, after that it's 40 or 45%
Obama proposed dropping the exemption to 3.5 million for 2016 but that is not yet decided.

That chain letter is not all correct, here's a site that may be more correct, but I know the estate tax exemption is 5.43 million for 2016 but proposed to be changed to 5.5 million.

For 2015 the estate tax exemption is in the 5.3 million range after which it is 40% or 45%

Maybe if you guys didn't spend $650,000,000,000 on your military (Plus whoever knows how much more in the black budget), your taxes would either be lower or you'd have the same taxes with a bunch more to spend on social issues.

To put it in perspective - US Military spending accounted for 55.2% of discretionary spending in 2015. Medicare and Health was 4.9%, Science was 2.5%, Education was 6.2%.

Obviously it's not the public going out and spending that cash, but the public are the ones that should be voting for the right people to figure it out.

Last point, I can see the benefit of such a huge military spending. It has led to many advancements in many industries through the development of technologies which trickle down and end up benefiting the general public.

Yes you're right, I don't see why we have to spend more money on the military than the next 12 countries combined! We would still be safe and still be the dominant force in the world if we spent only half as much.

He may have been saying that what the government is doing is a pile of crap, not sure from the way he said it. Anyway the bullshit is piled so high in D.C. you're going to need snowshoes to stay on top of it, and I can say the same is true in Olympia Washington.

Few in government are altruistic today, it is a very sad state of affair we cannot place our trust in most of our elected officials to do what is best for us, instead they keep feeding the coal to the consuming fires of this awful machine we've built.

Why do you have to be such a blatant nasty **** on here when ever you know you are right about something, a deep character flaw I think. You would do well to tone it down, I think your response was worse than my being suckered into bad info and I returned your negative rep., that after I said I wouldn't neg anyone again.

The problem with this guy is when he negs someone it can take away 4 or 5 points. I've probably added at least 10 points to his reputation myself by giving him plus reps every now and then, that won't happen again.

Yep, I told you right from the beginning that he doesn't care about you +repping him.
 
He has built his reputation up so high that it is now a weapon, he enjoys negging, I am sure of it. I know he negged you a few times recently, your responding with a neg back to him as I just did, little affect it has when we have not been here as long to build something up. I saw a post from a couple of years ago where he and another member with a lot of points were attacking Jerry of LaserBee, consistently negging him round after round to take his points down, while only giving positive reps to dead accounts to allow him to make another attack on the guy and not letting anyone else who is active build their reps.

Here's how the rep system works, you can only rep 10 times a day and it takes two days of using up all 10 reps before you can rep someone again, needing to rep 20 times before you can come around and give another rep, whether positive or negative.. That is why he was repping dead accounts, so he wouldn't build anyone else up and still be able to attack Jerry every two days.

What is wrong with this guy he is so self centered and willing to strip members of their reps when he is upset? Vindictive ***. Well, I was just that, I became vindictive today and took away one single point for the four he took from me, stupid, I should have been above it. I suppose I deserve it for allowing myself to be trolled as well as negging another member today too, unhappy as I am with this crap, becoming what I disdain!

I apologize for negging you back, I should have just let you be, I won't get into a tit for tat negging war with you, as you suggested you would do to VG in that neg you gave him with the warning you would be happy to keep negging him over and over again if he wanted a war with you, as you did to Jerry to the point he left. Here's my response to this kind of thing: If I ever see you neg anyone in this forum again, I will be sure to give them as many positive reps back as you took away, in time. I'm still putting back what you took away from VisibleGreen.
