Hello,

I got a Rayfoss 100mW 532nm Green Laser, second hand here on the forum.
It was a good price since the lens was cracked.
Does anyone know where I can get a new lens? Any other brands of lens? Prices?

The seller removed info from post. But i still don't have the laser yet. But have picture of the green spot/spill. Does that help?

From the picture it looks like the lens is just dirty, not cracked.
Let us know when you have it in hand.
Post some pictures of the lens and then we might be able to help.

I use 90% rubbing alcohol and cotton swabs and compressed air.

Hopefully the lens is not damaged but since there are no pictures of the dot or the lens it is not possible to say for sure.

Why is it that the more I clean the lens, the worst the spot looks?
I guess I should have left it when it was good. But i like things in perfection.

Nice.

When cleaning lenses, I make sure to use a small amount of alcohol and each side of the cotton swab for only one gentle swipe. This way the lens does not get smudged.

It appears that more than one of the surfaces of the optics is dirty.
If the beam is still splotchy with the lens removed, there may be some stuff on one of the other optics.

Be careful not to disassemble the laser too much - it will allow more dust to settle inside.
