Alright, so ive decided i want to buy a high quality laser show. what i want is at least 150mw and at most 500mw any color. Scan speed should be 20k at least and be software or DMX controllable. I know what i want, i just dont know where to get it :thinking:. My friends have tried Laserworld but have gotten a bad product, either the laser was misaligned despite being well tested, or underpowered... so im in a rut. Any ideas? I know this is NOT CHEAP, i can go as high a $5000

With your budget you could go with lots of different options, but I recommend lumalaser. They make great shows and their products are generally very high quality. They make the well-known "mobolazer" series.

I really do not know about scanners, but, why the hell you want 500mW of power for scanning?

Lasershowparts.com, great company and service, bought me SP20s there..
500mW is really not much in scanner terms, more power is better makes for a more impressive show.

^If you're interested in building your own scanner, then I agree with FokoF. I get my galvos from lasershowparts.com as well, and I've never had any problem with anything I've bought from them.

@Hallucinogenic: 500mW in the world of laser shows is not much. It's common to see scanners making several Watts at big concerts and nightclubs..
