LED Cube 8x8x8

Looking at build in an 8x8x8 LED cube over the winter break, because I'm out of class for about 35 days. anyone built one, any suggestion or general comments?

Even better, if you look through the guide it totals out to about 65$ usd for everything, they say 4 days, but i think it might take me a bit longer, mainly because of my laziness :crackup:

I have an entire 8x8x8 cube built, but am still working on the circuitry to control it... I'm sure I'll post it if I ever finish (right now I'm caught up with other things though). I definitely advise using two sets of pliers and pulling on the ends of the strands of wire to get perfectly straight strands of wire. Other than that, good luck! I can't wait to see it. LED cubes are awesome!

Also the instructable is pretty helpful.
