Does anybody have any links to articles or resources etc that are a good place to learn about lasers, how they work, how to build etc...

I am new to lasers but not new to electronics and am very eager to learn more.

If you want to learn to build lasers, you can learn that better right here. Start by viewing the white links in my signature and read as many other build threads as you can find, and become familiar with the parts and what works together and what doesn't.
