In that case, it could very well be worth trying to repair it. I could be a defective driver or pump diode. It's hard to say without seeing it. I certainly wouldn't toss the module out in order to use the host. It actually could be something quite simple.

I found the issue. I had 2 different batteries that had gone bad. I tried many 18650 flat top batteries that I knew worked as well. I had a crappy 18650 button top that shipped with a laser 303 that I never used. I tried that battery and it fired right up. I feel pretty silly but I'm glad it's working! On the plus side I probably wouldn't have ordered these 2 new lasers if this hadn't happened! I'll post pictures once I figure out how to upload larger images.

Cody, if you use the edit icon at the bottom right of your last post you can edit it and add new information and photos. It is better than triple and quadruple posting one after another. That is frowned on here, so just to let you know.

BTW, nice photo of your laser. It is difficult to tell its power without measuring it, though.
