Lasever 473nm Handheld Module - Any hosts it might fit?

Hello,

I have been really hoping to get something in 473nm over the last little while and have been thinking of going with the 80mW handheld by Lasever that Zraffleticket reviewed.

I was talking with Van from Lasever and he mentioned that the 473nm module itself is something they offer as well and can actually be purchased separately from the host. It comes with the driver already attached but I think without a collimating lens. Has anyone else seen a 473nm module like this before?

I think the dimensions are a little different from the green modules so I was wondering if there were any hosts out there anyone was aware of that might fit this 473nm module? The specifications are in the link below, I think it should open in word.

Thanks!

Edit: Link removed because it didn't seem to work. I copied the specifications in my next post below.

Your link requires me to enter an E-Mail Addy and Password...
A direct link to a .PDF file would be easier...

Is there a big price difference between the module and a complete laser ? The 473nm laser looks pretty good to me.

Hm, if it's similar to the size of their 532nm modules I'm definitely picking one up. I (personally) know someone who can make me a custom host/heatsink so that's not an issue for me :)

Edit: Nevermind; only re-machines parts. I'll just get something form jayrob

I'm really sorry that the link didn't work, and to keep you guys waiting.

It looked like it was an attachment in my email at first but then I saw that it was a link to a file in google documents so I thought other people would be able to access it as well.

Here is the specs on the module and a picture of it.

Model no: LSR473PL
Spatial Mode: TEM OO
Output Power: 30mW, 50mW, 80mW
Residual IR: 946, 1064, 808nm = < .01%
Operation Mode: CW or Modulation
Beam Spot Shape: Circular: Aspect Ratio <1:1:1

Pointing Stability: <.05mrad ...... (Not sure what this means?)
Beam Diameter: (1/e2) <2mm (with collimation lens)
Beam Divergence Full angle: <1.5 mrad (with collimation lens)
Warm up time: < 1 min
MTTF: 5,000 hrs

Dimensions: Diameter 26 x 50mm3
Driver: 30mm round board on / off button Input 3.8-4.2V (18650 li ion)

It says green in the description in the picture which I think is a typo...

Sorry for the typo!
It should be Blue.:fightin:

120mW is the max for 473nm: $430 + shipping

Getting a quote for 80mW 473 right now...

I also asked about 671nm modules, they are also available at $560 for 400mW.

You can ask David @ Lasever directly for these quotes. They respond very quickly. I don't know if they want you citing quotes on the forums (not to keep information hidden from people here, but from competitors).

Van's pretty quick as well, though he seems eager to have everybody know what's up with the prices.
