Hi everyone,
I was wondering if any stores in LA (Big box or special/astronomy) sell lasers that can have the beam seen at night easily. Please, if you know of the place, tell me- I don't want to purchase online.

Not many stores sell good quality green laser that are 5mw. I think your best bet is to buy a 5mw from optotronics the beam should be pretty visible.
 
Search for the member map here on the forums, there are a few members in L.A
Dag comes to mind, I think hes in the middle of L.A.
 
Unfortunately there are no retail stores that sell high powered lasers.

You will have to order online.

You can research companies on here, or also buy from a trusted member on the forum.
 
Hi, will Frys or an Astrronomy shop have a greenie? I want to be able to see the beam clearly at night.

Eh they might but they will most likely be really expensive or shitty.
I would get one of swimminsurfer's super overspec greenies for your first green laser :)
 
you could also try ebay. I bought a cheap green laser that is supposed to be a 5mw. Its been working good since I got it a month ago
 
ebay is to much of a gamble. Go to laserglow I promise you that they will give u the best service and highest quality items u have ever bought online. I also live in Los Angeles

I heard radioshack has some good 5mw greens, but way overpriced.

I expect what will happen is the guy will come back on here after the account is open for a while, and start showing fp in all over the place.
