Hello everyone,

I was planning to buy a 445nm 1W laser from Laserbtb, since every package coming from outside the country brings heavy taxes I was thinking of buying the safety goggles for that wavelength from the same vendor.

The goggles are these (style 2):
for UV blue green laser
Has anyone had any experience with them? Are they decent enough?

I would say if you only have a blue laser and not planning to buy a powerful green laser. You can just buy a 445nm+405nm+650nm protection goggle for only $1 but not this 200nm~540nm for $30:whistle:

Plenty of people buy from Laserbtb so they should be good, I have the same style of red goggles from another company and they are very good but there are also some cheap ones that look like that that are for green only that aren't so good but these appear to be the good ones that are UV through green, but Podo has a good point, if you later buy a powerful 532nm that is not IR filtered (most are not) then these won't protect from the IR.

'Shopping' for 'bargins' in eyeware seems not too smart=
Consider that pros spend >$300 -- for the real deal in glass.

Your seeing balls are worth better protection.
