how exactly do yo do that?
do you move the Rubik's cube around as the light is reflected off of it? and is there any fog involved?

this is done as the plastic melts and creates nice reflections off the molten plastic. I loove doing this. Sadly I no longer have a green laser that is capable of this anymore. but it's beatiful to behold.

Nice! You can do this with a lot of melty, reflecting stuff I think I read somewhere that it's called a Moire pattern :-/ It's one of those things to look at for hours when you get high

no,
moire is a pattern/effect made when two grids overlay at a given angle.
u can see it often in photographs not well edited and other media, if not on your screen, in a mosquito trap on the window (overlaid with another one, viewed at a distance)

That's a cool random effect. Reminds me a bit of those acid-trippy effects from Barbarella. That would look so wild in R-G-B! (if we could get a blue powerful enough to melt that is) Might go through a few cubes though... ;D

I figured this one out quickly after I received my DX 150 several months back. You can actually control the movement a little by slowly moving the black shiny black plastic any direction. Cool, hypnotizing, cheap laser show.
