I wanna do a lasershow with step motors.

I saw a lot of schematic where to draw with good precision, is necessary a closed loop control (PID, or only PD)

I saw too many lasershow using step motors instead of galvos.

Those L.Show do a good job? There is a closed loop controls ?

closed loop implies the idea that the scanner control has feedback from the motors (usually an optical encoder of some sort) and while stepper motors can be used for a basic laser show, they lack the speed and precision needed to do complex scanning

MarioMaster, so, you confirm my thought... with step motors, the LS don´t have feedback.

Andy: nice link!
