hay i was wondering what analog and TTl Modulaton were and how to use them and what the difference was between this and regular opperation

Thanks in advance,
Mitch

Its for lasershows and stuff like that. TTL input is on/off. If its in TTL mode, you can input either 0V or 5V. One will turn the laser on, the other will turn it off (which is which depends on the laser). Analog is the same except the values in between 0 and 5 allow the laser to output a fraction of full output.

ok but how are you able to control this? is there a switch that activates/deactivates it?

well usually when you get a lasershow, the TTL modulator is allready on the board, so when you hook it up to software or whatever, it controls the TTL from the board

you can also make a controller like this one I made for my 1W green that will vary the output from 0-full

Dunno. However the manufacturer made it. Do you know what model you're using? One of my units has wires that connect to a +5V line on the PSU to keep it full power. I can remove the wires and connect a TTL or analog signal if I want. Some may have a switch though or whatever. Just depends on how it was made.
