Laser problem...! Help pleasee

Alright, so I saw that my laser was getting a lot of fuzziness right by the dot, and so I looked it up and saw that someone said to clean it with cotton. I took a cotton swab and started to rub around it. It made it worse. The fuzzyness is worse than before.

Mine looks like this:

Its unmodded, un opened and everything;and its 20mw.

I dont know what to do now, should I use water? I have alcohol..

i use a lightly damp q tip. then twisted up paper towel to dry

do you have any can'd air like for cleaning your key board or camera lenses ?
that would be the first thing to try befor putting something on the lens and maby scratching it. if the air dosn't work the next thing is a small dry (new) paint brush the brissels will not scratch the lens but will remove all lose stuf. if you still don't having any luck clearing the problem then wipe it only with a alcohol wetted cotton swab, never wipe it dry thats the best way to scratch it.
