Laser module stronger then laser pointer?

Addicted to lasers, i have been collecting higher powered lasers.
started with normal pens then systems and now modules.

in the time i have collected all my equipment i have noticed that laser pens are very weak compared to laser modules.

i have a laser module that has a output power of 300mw and a laser pen with the same output but the module seems to burn everything 10x faster and is way brighter and much more clear and the beam is like you cant even put your hand it its way cause it will hurt instantly. both of them are green 352nm.

what could the cause of this be?

Many factors. But the main reason you have modulse that are more powerful than pens is because you purchased them =p

Generally if the pen says 300mW it isn't. Hell, I wouldn't trust any green laser over 100mW in a pen form factor.

hahahahaha i would show u if i could upload a picture but i dont know how to.
the module might actually be a 1 watt since i have a red 500mw red and it doesnt have the same burning ability as the green...
maybe its a factory sticker fault hahahaha!!

See the words Additional Options ? You click Manage Attachments. Then look at the photos on your pc and upload. It's that simple.

Your not aware that modules are built to exacting standards ?

2 green, violet, cyan laser system at 250mw each
1 green, red, yellow laser system at 250mw
1 RGB laser system at 500mw
2 red 500mw laser module
1 green 300mw laser module
2 green laser pens 200mw each
1 violet laser pen 200mw
1 green laser system at 200mw

Perhaps it is time you bought a Laser Power Meter...
Then you would know the exact output power of all
your Lasers...:beer:
