Laser keylock switch started spinning and laser quit working.... 7 watt 450nm laser

Hello, does anyone have experience with keylock switches? The one in my hour old laser started spinning And shit the laser down. I unscrewed it and found two contacts. One was bent down and the other straight. Originally they are apparently both straight.
The laser is under warranty but I'd prefer not to wait another week and a half for something to arrive from Hong Kong. If anyone has any experience with this..... For instance... How are the prongs supposed to be installed..... Am I missing a piece?

hate when that happens.

another member will post with real advice. I try hard to be gentle to my switches.. afaik they ONLY need to be turned about 1/4TH of a turn.
so no 'spinning' allowed
