Laser help!!!

I bought this laser...

650nm 5mW Red Line Laser Module/Locater/Measurement/Lab - eBay Industrial Lasers, Lighting Lasers, Industrial Supply MRO, Business Industrial. (end time 12-Sep-09 15:22:32 AEST)

But it projects a line not a dot. How can I change it?

i'm not sure but probaly if this module is from aixiz it will fit.

Module is from Rayfoss, but looking at it, probably use the same lens than aixiz.

Anyway, if you can't find another lens, can try to remove the second lens, the one that make the line (is the piece of transparent plastic that look all lines, in front of the lens assembly)

Usually, the lens holder (the threaded part that you screw inside the module) is just screwed on the focusing ring (the part that you rotate), and the secondary lens is just posed inside and kept in place from the holder screwed in the ring ..... just unscrew and separate the two parts, and the line lens must fall out, then you screw again the holder in the ring, and all done
