The beam is nicer, the dot shows some side 'splash'. But you only notice it if you are examining the dot at close distance.

The 'side splash' never bothered me. But that's because I have been using Meredith glass lenses for quite some time. They have a similar side splash.

99% of the people who are using the 405-G-1 glass lens are happy with the results! :)

And arena has a sharp point, i should have said "dot" not beam. but i was simply noting its cleanliness compared to a crap glass lens. trust me "and Jayrob" when he sais 99% of the people who use it are completely satisfied!

I mean it even turns PHR's into flesh burning beasts, literaly... even with the beam at infinity, its hurts ALLOT!

i'd love that lens, but the price is almost as expensive as the whole laser itself!
If it was 40 dollars or something i would have bought it.
 
The cost is actualy considerably cheap! i've seen places sell the same type of lens for 1-2hundred dollars.

i think Jayrob sells them for less than $60, wich is completely worth every penny

i own 4 of these lenses so far myself ^_^

Im sure its possible to not be able to see all different kinds of wavelengths.

Yes it is. I've got trouble with dark shades of red & green. I see various tones of red in only one red tone, I'm "kinda" colour blind.
It's hard to explain to somebody who doesn't have it, but I've got a driver's license :p

And niko - i knew i was right ^_^ my friend who sees red as brown was a riot in school, i'll never forget that kid lol

Was this due to a laser related injury niko? or just the way it is? i am curious as i have been seeing spot lately... that dont go away lol. i fear i am degrading my eyesight. i need to get some protective eyewear. i wish there was a pair that will take care of 405nm-660nm light all at the same time. i've only seen the blue/green ones.

DAoO - Here is a pic of my new mini rpl like host for the 8X's, pretty small in relation to an iphone and a coleman max, but nice heatsinking.

These were custom made by Ehgemus.
