i do, and it has nothing to do with the original switches lol

I put a whole new assembly in there.

Borg - just so you dont get all anxious, his camera is exadurating the beam allot, as well as the smoke. 110mW-150mW blu-ray lasers arent actualy as bright as his camera portrays

Its true. naked eye nor carmera can see the beam without smoke. it is amazing how the tiniest bit of smoke can bring the beam out though. Pics were taken with my nokia e71
 
well i can see the beam without smoke, everyone percieves 405nm light differently "i know a guy who cant see it at all!"
 
Strange, is blu ray the only color that every human sees on a other visibility rate?
 
Nope, i grew up with a friend who could not see the color red, and as a result, could not get his drivers liscense! ouch!

I distinctly remember him saying red things look brown to him. like colorless carboard brown.

Im sure its possible to not be able to see all different kinds of wavelengths.
 
Well you can see the blu ray beam once you find it. Its a little harder to see than red and i think thats because the br beam is fatter
 
yeah, a BR beam is allot fatter, also no wheres near as clean. ecspecialy with the 405-g1 lens wich i recomend to EVERYONE!!!! 28% increase in power instantly!!!

....Wait you said the 405-G-1 makes the beam especially diry and fat? Then you recommend it to everyone?

I noticed my BR laser to be better collimated with the 405-G-1 lens. The dot on the other hand looks like ass but that's got nothing to do with the beam.
 
sorry, i'm a bit confused. you're saying the beam is fatter, dirtier and more powerful? and the additional power outweighs the other effects on the beam, adding up to an overall better burner? in the demos i've seen on here, it looks very focusable and tight, with a little splash but apparently every lens has that. i can't wait to find out for myself! :D
 
i guess theres no way to photograph what i mean, you need to see it in person. the 405-G1 increases power like WHOAA!!

an aixiz glass lens produces a slightly cleaner beam, with a more conformed, neater splash "splash cant really be helped"

the splash of the 405 is a little messier, but not much at all, i can barely notice it actualy.

My point, for a 50-100mW increase in power.... the almost un-noticbly messier beam is SO worth it. and again, when i say messy, its for lack of a better word, it really isnt messy at all actualy.

I think what's throwing people off , including me, is that your saying the BEAM is bad,dirty. But im hoping you actually mean the DOT where it hits is messy.

i dont know.
