Laser broken?

If there's one thing I learned from medschool is that you do no give up until it is dead
If it were me, I'd try cleaning the diode with the method I mentioned, then if that didn't work, come back and ask you guys what I should do

Sadly, we were never taught what to do about the living dead.

Sadly, we were never taught what to do about the living dead.

A "zombie" diode is a diode that is basically dead but still emits some light. It will still draw current and make a lot of heat but it will never lase at full power again.

So i have to make a new one oh well, um i want to make and actual blue laser not purple like my last one and i want it to be a burning laser, really strong. What are the components? Pls um under 150$
