Laser Absorbing Material?

I need a material I can use to make the walls of a dark room. Something that won't allow much (if any) light in, and also will be safe to use if the laser, 3 watt 800nm wavelength, accidentally hits it. Price should have some bearing too.

I was thinking some type of flat, dull fabric that I can stretch over a metal skeleton, just enough to cover the optics.

If you can stretch some thing... I'm pretty sure it won't
stop a 3Watt Laser Beam...:undecided:

You are basically looking for a wall to wall beam stop
for a 3Watt Laser...

Google "laser curtain".

They make dark, black curtains that are designed to stop laser beams and block light out. Many companies make them, most of the labs I've been in sequester their laser set-ups using the big, black curtains.

WHITE teflon? I know it's resistant to just about everything, what about...lasers? Granted it's not something you usually find on the back of a new pair of pants "Please do no use under high powered lasers" but there's a chance and also even though it's white, if the room has no light you still won't see it AND 800nM won't burn it and...why does it need to be dark?

^Science. Stray light is background noise. Keeping light out increases signal-to-noise in low-signal applications. Standard practice.
