I bought an +800mW Krypton from SRESAL and Cyparagon last Christmas via this forum, but it crapped out this summer and I thought I'd be stuck with a <200mW Krapton. :cryyy:

I got in touch with Jeice from Wicked Lasers a couple weeks ago and she was able to promptly get this replacement shipped to me... :D

I put the beam through goggles that blocked 100% of the green light and only 15mW of IR passed through.

Hopefully this Krypton lasts a lot longer than my previous one which only had a few hours of total run time!

Interesting results!

I'm curious about the spikes and dips throughout the graph. Could the thermal protection be kicking in?

All DPSS lasers that lack active cooling will produce LPM graphs that resemble the Rocky Mountains.

I doubt the thermal protection kicked in because the laser was only slightly warm after each test.

Ah, gotcha. Thanks for your explanation. :)

I just tested mine and it puts out a steady 835mW after warm up, when it's cold it was doing 1015mW...

Interesting... all the high powered greenies I've owned had lower output when cold.

What was the room temperature during your test?

Never in a million years thought a Krypton could match or exceed the power output of a $4589 Hercules-750 for 15 minutes straight...
