Kdriver - New design buck driver 2.2A softstart

hi everyone,
this is my new design - the name of it is Kdriver
- i tested it at 1.9A (not heatsink) for m140 diode, this is good when it ran 2 minutes without need heatsink for Kdriver
- i set for Kd softstart 2s like in under clip test
- the drivers next i will set at 1s or 1/10s depend my custom's hobby
- Input 3-17V, Output 6V
- all information i will update at this thread FS ( not this thread)

- size : 2 layer board of 0.54 x 0.38 inches (13.7 x 9.8 mm)

And this is round 2 layer board of 0.67 x 0.67 inches (17.0 x 17.0 mm)

and next is linear 0.8A maxround 17mm

Mr. Tung. You should throw a few of your drivers Paul’s way. Or to anyone willing to analyze them. We can always use more drivers. I’m surprised we don’t have more already, with all the sharp electricians on LPF. I can barely use Webench

Interesting drivers. Your linear one looks like it uses an LED driver, I hope that is not the case since the numbers have been filed off off the semiconductor devices. I would also like to know how much you want for each driver and the adjustment range of each of them. I would be happy to test any of these to see if they are noise free and stable at the claimed current ranges. I would also like to see the soft start into a load on a scope to see if they are just delayed or actually increase in current over the soft start time interval.

Good point Hope Mr. Tung, agrees on these terms only because they need to be a sure item for purchase . Ansd also preform as stated, we here are always looking for more driver options . As you stated in an earlier post delivery would be 30 Days thats quite a long time and sure that members would like a much shorter turn around time in delivery.

Yes, It takes along time to get here from Vietnam unless you opt for DHL Express shipping, which is expensive. I am interested in testing these to know if they can be relied on to not destroy diodes in the long run. Only comprehensive testing will tell us this. Or, you can take a chance and hope for the best.

Hi Paul,
Hope to hear some good news soon on the out come of the drivers tested . Mights be months from now but it's a start, hope Tung gets back to you with a shipment to be tested. If the drivers turn out to be worthy he will have some orders to fill.

Thanks, Rich. I sent him my address and asked for any pertinent information about what he sends. I will get them tested within a week of receiving them. Then I will post all information I found for everyone who is interested.

BTW, do we have prices on these yet?

It is difficult to say, Rich. I had some drivers sent to me by astralist that made it within ten miles of my house and sat for the next ten days. I tried hard to get them delivered, but after ten days they were returned to astralist. He did send out more drivers and those seemed to get to me faster, but this is all I have to go by. Tung, do you have prices yet on the drivers you intend to sell? I am very interested in what kind of price you are thinking of. Thanks.
