oh god don't do that. he'll end up giving you bad advice, or good advice on how to kill your diode, either way. and as far as i can tell no one has put it in a can before, I've seen chrome tubes, PVC tubes, copper tubes, and now a pill container, but never a can

thats actually how i got into lasers too, but i never actually did his project i always wanted to though, i just couldn't find a DVD burner and an Aixiz module

well once my diodes arrive you will see one in a coke can and a beer bottle, possible in a camera I have a dead one that can house an aixiz module and has room for a 9V ;D this is gonna be fun here in a few days when my funds transfer
