oh god don't do that. he'll end up giving you bad advice, or good advice on how to kill your diode, either way. and as far as i can tell no one has put it in a can before, I've seen chrome tubes, PVC tubes, copper tubes, and now a pill container, but never a can

although for as much bad rep as he gets about his DVD burner hack with unregulated 2x AA batteries, i first got into lasers by doing his exact project. and mine is still going strong, almost 6 months later

thats actually how i got into lasers too, but i never actually did his project i always wanted to though, i just couldn't find a DVD burner and an Aixiz module

well once my diodes arrive you will see one in a coke can and a beer bottle, possible in a camera :D I have a dead one that can house an aixiz module and has room for a 9V ;D this is gonna be fun here in a few days when my funds transfer

a beer bottle would be cool, idk about a camera, one of those inch by square inch mini spy cameras, now that would be something worthing looking at
 
Just like on National Treasure, where they have the laser thing inside of the camera. :D

it would be my busted nikon whatever the hell it is. now I'm thinking of unique hosts :P


in national treasure it was taped on not in the camera.
 
I haven't seen it in a while. :-/ Before I got into lasers. Now I know it was pretty much fake. :P
 
Neat. You can wrap the battery and cables in electric tape if you still wanted to put it inside.

It isn't the mW, its how many mgs (ibuprofen)!
