I few days ago i found some time to bulid my mandatory spirograph.
Start with two motors frm 22x sled green modul and potis for the motors.
Mirrors are from harddiscdrive selfmade.

Endet with green 20-30mw module and red rohm @250ma rkstr, dichro and 3 motors everything dimmable.
The lasers are dimmed by voltage to the driver.

I start with power supply by 4 aaa, with akkus i have 3,6 and 4,8 volt.
But the capacity is to bad and i add two 18650. :-[

Its really just quik and dirty nothing serios.  ;)

Beams are not korrekt allignable with heatglue.  ::) :-?

Some picts.

The last motor is from micro rc helicopter, its quit fast and give some vibrations to the contruction, i think this is the reason for the rolling roundness of simple circle pattern.

Good start -- Better focus on the red and allign the green with it and ------YELLOW or ORANGE. Nice compact build.

Ended up with green 20-30mw module and red running @250ma through a rkcstr, dichro and 3 motors everything dimmable.
The lasers are dimmed by voltage to the driver.

If you are using the rkcstr drive on the red it should not change the output by adjusting the voltage...unless you turn it down low enough to fall out of regulation of course.

Good first try though :) , as Mike says it is worth trying to get the combining right, it will make it a step up from most first attempts we see.

You are right with the rkstr driver i belive. Maybe the same for the gren module.
I think about regulation by the R1 from the rkstr but its to  picky for this build.  :)

@mike
i do this way because the green is potentiell more bright, i thought.
This way the loss of green is quit big, yes.
Optik is taken from the only sleds i have the LG22x. :(
