JDSU Argon Power supplies - $59 plus shipping on ebay..

bah US and canada only.

Not that I can afford it at the moment but it would be good to have hanging around for testing argon tubes.

ahh cool - I'll keep an eye out for a spare $150 (it'll probably cost $100 to ship but cheaper than building my own), and perhaps buy one.

Right now LPM is high on priorities and getting my big projector working.

I just looked up the approximate postage to Australia.....over US$150, three times as much as the unit itself. And some people wonder why laser components such as these cost more in Australia.
Hey vk2fro, love your pic. Is that your projector?
Ciao.

yes its the weight that kills - hence when I buy a heavy laser like the laser physics, I expect to pay a bit more because some poor bugger wants to reclaim some of that expensive shipping.

Yes Rob, thats my little 500mw RGV projector. I am putting together an RGB unit (look in laser shows for "building of thor has begun) for details. Expecting 2ish watts at the aperture once I'm finished. Base green is gonna be 800mw. :)
