As a post title,

Is there a possibility to convert a 5.5W aluminum laser module with fan powered 12V -5Amph in the same but powered by a 12V but 4.5Amph lead battery?

So to convert something fixed to the portable!

In practice, it would have the same convenience as a L-Ion powered laser pointer, but with the same power but long lifespan!

Easier if I talked to you on Skype about this brother, but I don't see why not. It just won't run as long, that's all. Do you have Skype?

Hook up the battery as the power source and see for yourself--all you need is 2 pieces wires to try it out.

Good ... then my hypothesis is reality!

Thanks a thousand Encap

I'll try it tonight! if you can take photos and share it with you all!

Just like encap replayed you have to try it out, be careful sometimes 12V is needed for the fan, and less for the driver you could also exchange the driver on it and make your own connections
post some pics when you done, or you could call Alaskan on skype and he could help you on this problem.
