I bet it will hit 1W yet with the right conditions. Great getting the Beamx for free but it's so nice without it you can use it for your next Jet

Yeah I might just sell the beamx honestly. This laser already has a great beam profile. I'm sure it is capable of 1W peak, but I don't feel like running a bunch more LPM tests just for the bragging rights lol.I bet it will hit 1W yet with the right conditions. Oh well, who cares about peak power anyway, this seems to be a unit with good thermal management in mind, so it can hold that output power for a very long time. If it holds the advertised 800 mW over the runtime of a battery it's just a good design. Given the size of the thing i expect it probably will

According to Gray at JL the duty cycle should be around 3 min on/30 sec off. I've actually been a little too conservative with it, having never ran it for more than 90 secs.
