i got the blu-ray diode from the group buy and i hooked it up to this driver that i posted pics of above and it has a brite lite around the blu dot and its not that brite eaither i measured 5,23 going to the diode and my batt is 8.75 voilts ami doing some thing wrounge ?

5.23 sounds like too much voltage. I know your driver was supposed to be working because we tested it with a load. I suggest you measure the current, but measure between the the battery and the circuit. Remember do not put your meter in parallel to measure the current. Put it in series.

here is a pic of how it is now the yellow wire is hooked to a switch the red and yellow one is hooked to the diode and the black is also to the diode

i put my meter on 20 it reads 8.66 and then i kept it on 20 and measured the wires going to the diode and it reads 0.03 any ideas

I just posted on your new thread to say your diode is the wrong way round...... It looks for all the world as if the capacitor is the wrong way round on this circuit...be an idea to check.
