I'm new to green laser buying, and noticed that a few people on this forum recommended Optotronics. I'm looking for an astronomy laser with a nice visible beam. I was thinking of purchasing this 10mW laser from them. Is this a good buy? Will I be able to see a solid beam? Is there a better laser I can get for the price? Thanks.

That is a good quality laser yes, still at 10mW's you won't see a solid beam. 50mW might suit your needs better!

Looking at laserbtb, I have to agree, those look very good and the prices low.
