Is there anyway to take apart/open this

I purchased a 1w blue laser from eBay and was wondering if it was possible to access the inside in order to repair it. I can hear something moving around inside but can't find a way to access the internals. The laser is the Gatling waterproof 1w blue laser on eBay, very common on there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please make sure to take the battery out before you open it.
If it wont unscrew it's probably glued, pop it apart with a screw driver but take the battery out first.

As RedCowboy said take out the battery, then take the lens housing out by unscrewing it.
If you see a ring with two cutouts in it you can take that out. That ring holds the diode and driver. If the body has a seam in the center area than most likely it can be taken apart. If there is no seam and no ring with cutouts, than it is glued and it's stuck for good.
Hope this helps.

I reckon the rods around the central barrel can also be removed, with something like a hex wrench (I don't remember exactly)

Yes they can, but I don't remember the size. 5/64" maybe.

Some here might be more likely to offer help IF you had made an 'intro' thread in the welcome section.
(not at all too late to still do that)
helps also if we know about where you are.. is that already in your profile??
pics help too.. GL
afaik very few here own a gattling gun laser.. it one of the most over-exaggerated lasers for sale anywhere.
Impossible claims on power. & very odd looking IMHO.

Hi ,
I know of a guy that can fix that fast..

Rich:)

Gattlings are among the cheapest hosts and have very little heat sinking to dissipate the waste heat from the laser diode. It would be better if you could provide photos of your laser. Especially the front end as they can come glued together making getting into them difficult.

Hey Hakzaw1 :-) Well I have two a 50W "Military" 532 and a 60W+ 445 (kidding). I knew enough not to fall for the "6000 mW Gatling Military"- was $7299-now only $199" scam. I've replaced my GigaGatlings with Sanwu.
I noticed that the OP posted in 2016.

GAAAHHH! I missed the date on the OP again. This is why I hate posting to old threads. The OP is likely never going to see it, so why do it?

Yeah.... and he hasn't even responded in over
2 years with only 1 post.
Need to have Noobs do an introduction before
being allowed to open a Thread or Post questions... IMO
